OSAC successfully secured funding to work with the Department of Work and Pension Service to run a 12 week Employability course for women with low literacy, numeracy and language skills. The aim of the course was to ensure participants increased their self esteem confidence and became closer to the employment market through a number of workshops, skills based class sessions as well as work placements to try and secure paid employment. This project successfully ended in February 2016.
